WHAT TO EXPECT:

  1. Confirmation Email: Be assured of an email confirming receipt of your application within 24 hours particularly when you apply directly from our website.

  2. Initial HR Call: After mindful review of your application with majority of requirements met, you can expect to receive an invitation for an HR call.

  3. Hiring Manager Interview Opportunity: Curious about your future manager? This is your opportunity to meet and have an in depth discussion of the role & responsibilities of the position, understand the current team structure as well as current project related challenges.

  4. Technical challenge (most TECH ROLES): If you sailed through the HR call, you will be asked to complete a technical challenge( e.g. code challenge) within a 1 week time frame.

  5. Technical Interview Opportunity (most TECH ROLES): If you are at this stage, then you must know you are doing something right. This is the opportunity to walk the team through the process of arriving at your result and generally have a deep dive into technical topics.

  6. Team Interview Opportunity: The focus of this interview is to get an idea of who your future team colleagues would be, the different touch points and how the working dynamics could look like.

  7. Offer: Congratulations you made it this far! We are so proud of your commitment at every stage of this process and we can’t wait for you to start with us 🙂

Was there a pandemic impact on the organization?

We are proud and fortunate to say that, in the face of the pandemic we were not adversely affected in comparison to other industries. We stood together as a team, we didn’t let anyone go nor did we implement short-time work. This goes to say, anyone who left the company did so on their own accord.

The second good news is that, despite the pandemic, Wire secured a Series B funding round with a total value of 21million USD.

What working style can I expect at Wire?

Wire has always offered a work environment where everybody does what they love. We currently have the hybrid model. This means team members have the combined option to work from the comfort of their homes and also from our beautiful office space in the heart of Berlin. What measures have been taken to secure the health security of team members who choose to work from the office?

Health and safety of team members is and will continue to remain one of our topmost priorities.

It begins with regular deep cleaning of all spaces and surfaces in our office. Also we have an abundant stock of corona self test stations right at the entrance of our offices. Hand sanitizers are well distributed at vantage points throughout the office. We’ve got you covered in terms of face & nose mask just in case you for yours, we have FFP2 in stock at no cost.
