We're pleased to share another milestone in our journey to deliver truly secure integrations for digital collaboration, built on end-to-end encryption powered by the Messaging Layer Security (MLS) protocol.
What's New in Phase 3
In Phase 2, teams could create an app and generate an authentication token, enough to get a first integration talking to Wire. Phase 3 completes the picture by finishing the UI in the Wire app, so you can manage that app for its entire lifecycle. Now you can see every app connected to your team, keep its details current, rotate a token in seconds, or retire an app for good — all from one place in Team Management.
Your Apps, All in One Place
The Integrations tab now lists every app your team owns, with its logo, name, and category laid out in a simple table. Open the three-dot menu next to any app and everything else in this release is right there: view details, edit details, get a new token, or delete the app.

Keep App Details Current
Renaming an app, swapping its icon, or fixing a description no longer means recreating it. Choose Edit details from the menu, update what's changed, and save - the app keeps its credentials and connections exactly as they were.
Editing name, category, and description
Rotate a Token Without the Redeploy Drama
Lost a token, suspect it's been exposed, or just due for rotation? Get new token walks you through a password check and hands you a fresh one immediately - no need to delete and rebuild the app.

Confirm - this invalidates the old token Copy it now - it won't be shown again
Note: Update the app's apiToken parameter in WireAppSdk constructor and redeploy every running instance
Retiring an App
When an app created by your team has run its course, Delete app in that same three-dot menu removes it for good. This is permanent and global - it invalidates the App ID and token for every team using it, not just yours.
Why It Matters
Together, these capabilities turn app management in Wire into a full lifecycle - visibility, upkeep, credential maintenance, retirement and removal.
