Connecting restricted environments
Federation allows separate Wire backends to interact as if they were on the same backend. Manage which backends and users federate, restrict search capabilities, and more. Available for on-premises and cloud environments.
Painless device verification
Automatically verify people and devices through ID shield. Identity and device verification is handled through a certificate process, ensuring that users communicate with intended recipients.
Improve your productivity
Wire is available for up to 8 devices. Use up to 3 different Wire accounts on your device simultaneously — all without logging in and out. Prioritize conversations and manage notifications with our intuitive UI.

How do self-deleting messages work?
Self-deleting messages are messages that automatically disappear from conversations when the timer you set for them runs out. You can set a timer for texts, pictures, audio, videos, links, documents, and pings. Self-deleting messages are available in 1:1 and group conversations.
How many accounts can I use at once?
You can log in to Wire with up to 3 accounts.
Switch between the different accounts by selecting your profile picture on the left sidebar (macOS, Windows) or in your profile (mobile)
How can I moderate calls?
As a group admin you can mute other participants in a conference call on your desktop:
1. Choose the participant in the call overview and right click on the participant´s name.
2. Select Mute or Mute everyone else.
This change will affect all devices for participants. They always have the option to unmute themselves if they want.
