Navigation Bar Enhancements🍎
Top Navigation Bar:
- Includes a conversations filter, adding a new level of organization and accessibility. Whether you’re juggling multiple group chats, one-on-one conversations, your favorite conversations or your folders which is great for organizing conversations. Filtering conversations is now easier than ever.
- Each filter is equipped with a search function, allowing you to quickly navigate through your conversations without hassle. This means faster access to the chats that matter most to you.
- A minimalistic search bar is centrally located above the conversation list, giving you direct access to find specific chats easily.
- Improved search to provide more weightage to 1:1 conversations based on user feedback.
- The '+’ button in the top-right corner now consolidates key actions for improved navigation. Users can now add groups, search for new connections, and find existing contacts all in one place.
- Empty screens for conversation filter views are now designed to provide a more consistent and welcoming experience for first-time users.
Bottom Navigation Bar:
- Access your settings now directly, reducing clicks. No more digging through menus—your settings are now just a tap away in the bottom bar.
User Status and Profile Management
- We’ve enhanced how your status (feature only available for paid accounts) is displayed. Now, you can see not only availability but also ID shield (once end to end identity is enabled) , providing greater security info, transparency and control over your account.
- Selecting your profile picture now takes you to an updated account page where you can:
- Share your profile via QR code.
- Set or update your user status quickly.
- Add and manage up to three different accounts, all from one place.
